The Barnes Dubai property valuation tool (this site) is operated by Barnes International Realty Dubai (“Barnes”, “we”, “us”), 4 Emaar Boulevard, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Telephone +971 4 323 8100, email dubai@barnes-international.com.

The valuation wizard captures only what you choose to provide. Two buckets:

• Property details, community, type, bedrooms, area, view, condition, and similar attributes used to compute the estimate. These do not identify you.
• Contact details, first name, last name (optional), email, phone, nationality (optional), preferred language, and reason for valuation. We collect these only when you complete the contact step and tick the consent box.

We also automatically log your IP address, user-agent, the page you arrived from, and any UTM / advertising click identifiers in the URL. This is used to understand traffic sources and to apply fair-use rate limits to the API.

Lawful basis under PDPL (UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and GDPR Article 6(1)(a) consent + Article 6(1)(f) legitimate interests:

• To send you the requested valuation estimate and the email report.
• To match you with a Barnes broker who speaks your preferred language for follow-up, if you have asked us to contact you.
• To improve the accuracy of the model by analysing aggregate property characteristics, never tied to identifiable individuals.
• To comply with applicable law and prevent abuse.

Your contact details are accessible to the Barnes Dubai sales team and processors that act on our behalf:

• Netlify hosts this site and stores submitted leads in their managed key-value service (Netlify Blobs). Data resides in the Netlify region we deploy to.
• Resend delivers the notification email to our sales mailbox.
• PostHog (only if you accept analytics cookies) records anonymised usage events.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third-party marketers.

Lead records are retained for up to 24 months from your last interaction, after which they are deleted or anonymised. Aggregate analytics events (PostHog) are retained for up to 12 months. Server logs (Netlify) are retained per Netlify’s default retention policy.

Under PDPL and GDPR you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection in respect of your personal data. Email dubai@barnes-international.com and we will respond within 30 days.

We use a single session cookie to remember your wizard draft so you can resume later (no PII is stored client-side). Analytics cookies (PostHog) are loaded only after you grant consent through the banner that appears on first visit. You can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer.

We may update this policy as the service evolves. The updated date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be announced on the home page for at least 14 days.
